5, gas supply system, gas storage tank is generally installed in the rear cooler, it can prevent the aggregation of oil vapor and liquid water in the tank, in order to reduce security risks and improve the source of other equipment work as much as possible; in addition, stored in a tank of air at low temperature can also reduce the volume of the body.
In most situations, the gas tank are installed in the front of the dryer, so that the gas storage tank with cooling water and the role of regulator, the dryer load can be reduced, and the air pressure into the dryer is relatively stable, it is very beneficial to the operation of the dryer.
6, but the gas tank installed in front of the dryer also has the following disadvantages: if there is a lot of condensate in the tank, liquid water will enter the dryer with air flow and increase its operation load.
7, in addition, if the inner wall of gas storage tank is in a humid environment for a long time, it will rust easily, which will not only affect the service life of the body, but also cause many adverse effects on the rust and spalling. In order to avoid the occurrence of the above conditions, it is very important to discharge the gas tank in time.
When used with continuous gas supply equipment such as screw compressor, the gasholder can be installed behind the dryer. When the air entering the storage tank is dry, there is no condensate in the tank, which avoids the above defects. But this arrangement also has disadvantages: first, the inlet temperature of dryer is close to the rear cooler outlet temperature, the ratio of buffer tank is much higher, and the rear cooler outlet flow carried by the liquid water may directly into the dryer, the running load increases. In addition, a large pressure drop will be produced after the air flow through the dryer, filter and other purification equipment, so that the air pressure to the gas tank is reduced.
